After the success of the CD in aid of the Hartlepool Hospice ‘A Celebration of Life’ which raised over £4.500 in 2006, we decided to repeat the project for the ‘Support Your Bowel’ charity. In September 2011 we announced that it was or intention to record a live CD with fundraising singers. 'Making A Difference' CD launch concert

The good news for everyone involved in this fantastic project, is that, the CD launch concert SOLD OUT early last week. Since then we have had a few returned tickets, so if you wanted to attend the concert on Saturday 14th May at the Grand Hotel, Hartlepool please get in touch through the this website or the Park Inn.

CD recording

Below are the details for the forthcoming ‘support your bowel’ charity CD recording.

Date – Friday 9th March

Venue – The Grand Hotel, Hartlepool

Times – Sound / PA from noon

Piano, Bass, Drums, Percussion and Guitar – 5.30pm

Saxes, Troms and Trumpets – 6.00pm

Singers – 6.30pm

Doors open to ticket holders (only) @ 7.00pm

Recording starts @ 7.30pm

Ken Peters Extra Fundraising for Charity CD

Ken Peters (who is one of our sponsered performers on the forthcoming Charity CD) recently put on an event for the 'Hartlepool Widows Friendship Group' and asked them to donate his fee to the charity. He also sold (for just £1 each) 40 of his own cd's and put that towards the total. His wife was lucky enough to win the bingo and the winnings ended up in the pot to. The grand total for the event was a fantastic £125.30.

Following a request from Peters family,after the service in Great Ayton and the Crematorium,the venue afterwards will now be at :-

Dormans Hall, Oxford Road Middlesbrough. This place will hold many more people than the original venue of Tennis World.


The family have also requested that Peter's Musician friends bring along their instruments to Dormans Hall where all facilities are there for an op...

I am sorry to tell you that one of our long standing and fantastic musicians has past away. Mr Peter Papprill (trumpet) past away on Tuesday. Our thoughts go out to his family and he will be truly missed.
